In Italian, verb conjugation endings already make it clear who is speaking. Avoid saying "Io parlo, tu mangi, noi andiamo". Instead, speak naturally like natives: "Parlo, mangi, andiamo". Use "Io" only when adding dramatic emphasis.
Use "C’è" for singular ("There is") and "Ci sono" for plural ("There are"). For example: "C’è una fontana nella piazza" vs "Ci sono molti musei a Firenze".
In standard Italian: Masculine singular ends in -o, plural in -i (il libro / i libri). Feminine singular ends in -a, plural in -e (la casa / le case). Adjectives must always match the gender and number of the noun they describe.
