Ciao Giulia! Ieri ti ho chiamata ma non hai risposto.(Hi Giulia! I called you yesterday but you didn't answer.)

Giulia:

Ciao Marco! Scusa, mentre il telefono squillava, io facevo la doccia.(Hi Marco! Sorry, while the phone was ringing, I was taking a shower.)

Marco:

Ah, capisco. Poi cosa hai fatto?(Ah, I understand. Then what did you do?)

Giulia:

Sono uscita. Il tempo era bellissimo e c'era il sole.(I went out. The weather was beautiful and it was sunny.)

Marco:

Io invece sono rimasto a casa. Da bambino uscivo sempre, ma ora preferisco riposare.(I instead stayed home. As a child I always used to go out, but now I prefer to rest.)

Giulia:

È vero! Ti ricordi quando andavamo al parco ogni domenica?(It's true! Do you remember when we used to go to the park every Sunday?)

Marco:

Sì, e giocavamo a calcio tutto il giorno. Bei tempi!(Yes, and we used to play soccer all day. Good times!)
